Where is the place that I should store my Wise Foods?

The most ideal location for store Wise Food is where conditions are cool and dry, similar to what you may find in your basement. Temperature, moisture and light storage conditions can adversely affect any emergency food supply made up of freeze-dried and dehydrated components.

How much water is required for a Wise Food Storage individual serving?

The average requirement for an individual serving is 1 cup of water.

Is boiling water necessary?

When hot water is used, the reconstitution process speeds up. You will have Wise meals ready to eat more quickly when using hot water. When any temperature water is used, meals will take a bit longer to re-hydrated.

How do the meals get packaged?

All of our meals are packaged in mylar pouches. Each package holds 4 adult servings. Multiple pouches are contained in a durable polyethylene bucket for easy storage. Bulk packaging comes in various sizes.

When stored, how long will my emergency food supply last?

The Wise meals will last up to 25 years. To ensure a long lasting shelf life, it is suggested that food be stored in a cool, dry place, such as a basement.
