Sport Berkey Replacement Water Filter

The Sport Berkey replacement purification element is the replacement filter for the Sports Berkey. It features the IONIC ADSORPTION MICRO FILTRATION SYSTEM. This advance system removes and/or dramatically reduces a vast array of health-threatening pollutants and contaminants from questionable sources of water. This includes water from stagnant ponds, remote lakes and streams, and sub-standard water supplies in foreign countries.

Sport Berkey Preparation, Care, and Use

Fill the Sport Berkey Portable Water Purifier with water. Next, screw cap down tightly to eliminate leaks. Hold down the lever so the straw is exposed and squeeze the bottle. The water inside the bottle will be flushed through filter. Repeat this process twice to assure a clean filter. This process removes excess dust from the filter. When the process is complete, rinse the bottle & cap. Your sport berkey bottle is now ready for use. Enjoy!

Sport Berkey Maintenance and Storage

The 22 oz Sport Berkey Portable Water Purifier can last for 50 years. When not using the filter system for an extended period, flush the unit with a chlorinated solution of 1/4 tsp. per one half gallon of water. Permit to dry thoroughly with cap removed. Re-assemble and you ready to store your unit. Do not allow sport berkey to freeze, be place in microwave oven or be exposed to hot water through the filter.
