Each robust and efficient purification element lasts for up to 3,000 gallons (6,000 gallons per set of two) with a life span of many years of efficient water purification use. Note: Black Berkey purifiers are elements housed in the upper chamber. They will not perform effectively if combined with other upper chamber Ceramic elements. Only one technology is designed to operate in the upper chamber at a time.

Black Berkey purification elements have a two-year prorated warranty calculated in six months intervals. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will replace or repair any product that it deems is not properly functioning during the stated warranty period.
